APC WINS IMO NORTH(OKIGWE ZONE) SENATE AND OKIGWE SOUTH FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY ELECTIONS The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Hon. Patrick Ndubueze as the winner of the Imo North (Okigwe Zone) Senatorial election and Hon. Princess Miriam Onuoha as the winner of the Okigwe South federal constituency election in the February 25th presidential and national assembly election. This announcement was made by INEC's Returning Officer for Imo North (Okigwe Zone), after collating and announcing the results of the elections held across the zone. According to the results, Hon. Breaking News INEC Declares Election In NINN Federal Constituency Inconclusive — Cites Nọn Conclusion of election in Njaba, others ....Over Voting Allegedly Perpetuated By OZB also responsible. The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared the federal constituency election for Njaba, Isu, Nwangele and Nkwerre (NINN) as inconclusive citing non conclusions of elections at Njaba LGA and other places as responsible. Reading the address, the returning officer, Prof. Mrs. Rosita Ijeoma Ogechukwu said that in line with the relevant law of the electoral act, there will not be any result from the federal constituency pending when the election is conclusively concluded. UGOCHINYERE IKEAGWUONU HAS A CRIMINAL CASE TO ANSWER ON Suit NO: WZ6/CR/30/2022 The criminal summons issued by a District Court against Ugochinyere Ikeagwuonu is still pending hearing as adjourned to January 2023. There is no interlocutory appeal filed before the district Court against the ruling of the court, it will amount to abuse of court process for any court to assume jurisdiction over a matter that is pending before another court. A high court in the circumstance can only sit on appeal over the ruling/order of a district court and we state equivocally that there is no such appeal. We challenge ugochinyere to provide the suit number in which the court made the purported order. Note: Ugochinyere Ikeagwuonu have already, through his counsel admitted to making the defamatory statement for which he is accused of. Ugochinyere should wait for his day in court. J. C. Nwosu Esq.

The court expressed disappointment with the absence of the alleged criminal, Ugochinyere as an affront and disrespect and in his ruling the court dismissed the preliminary objection raised by defence counsel to the accused, The court ordered the Accused, Mr Ugochinyere to appear before it to answer to the charge of criminal defamation preferred against him pursuant to S. 391 of the Penal Code Law, failure which will necessitate a warrant for his arrest to be issued by the court .
