I wonder what some people take politics to be; a tea party or what? It is high time Senator Rochas Okorocha and his bandwagon apologists understood that power has changed hands. 

He governed Imo state for eight uninterrupted years and as we speak, the consequences and effects of his governorship had left a devastating economic ruins which was heavily characterized by monumental looting and embezzlement. 

Chief Okorocha, a territorial political chemist and land grabbing specialist, left Imo state in complete shambles and total disorder.

Since the inception of Imo state in 1975, we have never witnessed such a brazing mad rush for wealth acquisition and territorial expansion credited to one family at an accumulated swoop of eight years. 

As if the eight years was not enough, the self acclaimed former emperor at the Douglas House Bush bar, rolled out a succession plan for the reigns of Imo state. However, as they say, man proposes but God disposes. He was stopped by a superior firepower orchestrated and supervised by God Himself.

We still remember the chilling candour and the stretch of the Concorde boulevard, an open-ended drive way with heavy security gates and camouflaged houses over the runway built by Okorocha for INEC to have easy passage as well as his cronies and loyalists to have unrestricted access to write, manipulate and submit results on the election day. All these designs and manipulations crumbled at the feet of the man elected by God Himself to salvage His people.

It is only God in Heavens that sees the heart of every man. God used Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma to rescue Imo people from the dictatorial clutches of a later day Muammar Gaddafi. Imo people should be wise now and open their eyes to see what God had done for them. God first used Senator Hope Uzodinma to stop Sen. Okorocha from ceding APC ticket to his son in-law. Then Rt. Hon. Ihedioha was installed to pave way for the anointed one. 

Anyone holding the opinion that Gov. Uzodinma will fold his hands and allow Sen. Okorocha to continue to hold tight on all Imo looted assets, is a day dreamer. The former Governor cannot deceive us with his dead on arrival presidential ambition.

Let it be on record that nobody is witch-hunting Okorocha or any of his cronies. They are the ones causing the problems in Imo state and creating the impression that the current government is incompetent. But I thank God that the lion has taken back the jungle from the attempted rebellion of the lesser and weaker animals in the kingdom. It is time for them to face the music.

They funded insecurity in Imo with our looted funds and instilled fear and panic in the land just to discredit one man because he stopped them from establishing a dynasty in Imo state. 

How else should we appreciate Gov. Uzodinma, other than declaring our total and unflinching support to him. Let me tell those that are still fighting, to drop their arms and surrender to the dictates of the rule of law. The war is over and the battle has ended. 

If you want to engage the Governor or the government, let it be constructive and responsible. We will no longer treat rebellious tendencies especially against the state with kid's glove. 

There is a sitting Governor and his first tenure will end after 15th of January 2024.
