IHEDIOHA’S VITUPERATIONS CONFIRMS HIS INVOLVEMENT AND SPONSORSHIP OF INSECURITY IN IMO STATE

The landmark Supreme Court judgment of January 14th, 2020 that sacked the illegal occupant of Imo State Government House, Emeka Ihedioha, it has become obvious that while Imolites have moved on to embrace the leadership of Gov. Hope Uzodimma and his shared prosperity government, the PDP and Emeka Ihedioha are still wallowing in bitterness and anger. While we have continued to manage their vituperations and insensitive actions towards the government, it is not out of place to hope that Emeka Ihedioha who claims to have the interest of Imolites at heart will give room for peace since Gov. Hope Uzodimma has extended the olive branch to him but No!, if it is not Emeka and the PDP in power, Imo State is better of ridden by insecurity and senseless killings just to make the state ungovernable. It first started by name calling and addressing the Sen. Hope Uzodimma as a “Supreme Court” Governor just to smear and ridicule the legitimacy of his mandate and when they saw it was a brazen show of ignorance of our post electoral matters whereby every Governor pursues his interest beyond INEC declaration to the Supreme Court as the final arbiter resorted to sponsoring insecurity in the state. When Governor Hope Uzodimma first raised the alarm that the insecurity and killings happening in Imo State were been politically sponsored, some persons never believed and the PDP in Imo state as if they were in a hurry to cover their exposed atrocities began to peddle false information of the victims being innocent citizens just to curry sympathy. Truth they say can never be hidden for too long and like a chameleon, we have seen the various colours of the PDP as they are neither here nor there. The recent outing of Emeka Ihedioha on Channels TV and his leaked phone conversation correlates and aligns with the insecurity and killings we have been facing in some parts of the state and most especially in Orlu zone where Gov. Hope Uzodimma hails from. Emeka Ihedioha’s words are simply that of a man who is bitter and desperate and these traits have never produced any known positive result anywhere in the world especially when possessed by those who call themselves leaders. Emeka Ihedioha is out or in fact has been out to make Imo state ungovernable for Gov. Hope Uzodimma by launching attacks on the governor’s zone in order to push the narrative of his failure to save his kinsmen talk more of Imolites and would want to use that as his campaign message for his third term bid of becoming the governor since he knows that present administration has done well in virtually all the sectors of the state. Emeka Ihedioha is a selfish and a desperate politician. If not, what is there in becoming the Governor of Imo State that this same man doesn’t want to give up for?. For him, his ambition is worth more than anything including the lives of Imolites and sees those that are not willing to align with his desperation for power as saboteurs and should be eliminated. Emeka Ihedioha should live and let us live. As much as he has continued to deny the obvious fate that the position of the Governor of Imo State is not for him, he should try to either go back to the House of Representatives or Senate and maybe fate can give him a soft landing rather than trying to kill us all just to be addressed as the Executive Governor of Imo State. Imolites are indeed taking notes and records of the words and actions of Emeka Ihedioha and a day of reckoning must surely come and all those who have found delight in the insecurity and killings in some parts of the state will definitely answer for it. Imo State has always been in the hands of God and surely we will continue to do exploit with Gov. Hope Uzodimma.
